Life on Loud dramatically expanded Journeys’ social distribution in July: 257M views (up 440.1%), 21.5K new followers acquired, and net audience growth of +15,087 after June’s −475. Scale was heavily campaign supported, with paid distribution at 57% of total views. What’s working: Instagram organic engagement held above target at 2.40%, and the follower base swung from contraction to real growth. What needs attention: TikTok’s organic ER fell to 0.53%, below both its 5 to 8% target and its own June 0.76%; Instagram shares and saves grew just 3.7% against a 314% jump in views, so campaign reach is not yet converting to saved intent; and daily views eased about 30% from the post-launch plateau into the final week. The 49.9% decline in combined ER is the expected cost of launch-scale reach; the next lever is engagement optimization as spend normalizes.
Views, not Reach. Reach is a post-level metric in Ellipsend, not account-level. This report uses Views as the account-level distribution metric (Total basis). Post cards show Views because it is the denominator Ellipsend uses for post-level Engagement Rate, so both figures on a card share a basis.
Engagement Rate bases. Organic (default) is organic engagements ÷ organic views, the basis Journeys reports to leadership. Total folds paid delivery in and matches the Ellipsend dashboard.
TikTok attribution. Per TikTok’s API, ads that amplify a real post (Boost, Spark, TopView) credit their delivery back to the organic post, so TikTok’s organic line is effectively “Organic + Boosted.” The 31.4M TopView figure is post- and campaign-level attribution reported by TikTok for that single ad, not a value derived from the daily platform export, which is why the daily chart shows unadjusted delivery. TikTok post-level views on performer cards exclude amplified delivery, which is why account-level TikTok views run far above any single post.
Followers. New Followers Acquired is gross accounts gained. Net audience growth is the follower-count change from the first to last day of the month, which is the audience Journeys actually holds; July was +15,087 vs June’s −475.
Performers. Top and bottom 3 organic posts (non-dark-ad), views 500 or more, Stories excluded, ranked by organic ER or by Views via the toggle. Bottom lists exclude posts already ranked top, because campaign-scale posts trade rate for reach by construction. Boosted spend appears on a card when the export reports it for that post.
AI commentary. Pattern notes are generated from six months of Journeys post history (Feb to Jul 2026, 165 qualifying posts) and are suggestions, not measurements. Included this month as a preview; ongoing AI insights are part of Advanced Social Reporting.
Data window. Platforms deliver data to Ellipsend on roughly a three-day lag, so monthly figures are final on the 3rd of the following month. This report reflects the Aug 4 export; live Ellipsend numbers keep accruing and may differ slightly.
